Chloe Hayes is having a summer full of surprises.
First, she’s one of the lucky few selected to work the most prestigious event on Covington Cove Island – the Covington Mansion Masquerade. She and her dad desperately need the money, especially after her car breaks down on her way there.
Then, a handsome stranger mistakes Chloe as his date and she spends the night pretending to be another girl, all while being swept off her feet by the charming Asher Blackwell.
Asher, from one of the wealthiest families on the island, eventually realizes Chloe isn’t who she said she was. Instead of being upset, he asks her for a favor: pretend to be his girlfriend so he can get both his parents and notorious mean girl Isla Covington off his back.
