Overview
Barner is a mule deer fawn living in the Forest Life section of the zoo with his mother. Barner is not happy in the zoo. He wants to escape. He is tired of people saying mule deer are boring. He thinks he’s boring, just because people don’t visit him. Can Barner ever escape the zoo? Or more importantly, think that he’s special?
