January 15, 2019 is Dr. King’s 90th birthday. The entire month of January is excellent opportunity for children to learn about the life and work of this iconic American.Dr. King’s birthday offers a moment for students to learn about the Civil Rights Movement, the role of Dr. King in the movement and an opportunity to have a greater discussion about human rights.
